I’ve never seen a kitty turn down cat nip for a nap, they go hand in paw.

Has anyone else besides me, that uses BING, noticed a format change in the image search?I cant get a “copy shortcut” from the images any more.And the look is different.

OK. On the image search page, LEFT click on the photo you want.Then, on the page that’s all “dark” where the picture that you want shows up, LEFT click on the picture again.That opens up another window with just the photo showing and nothing else. COPY the URL off the BROWSER address space…that’s usually always a JPEG URL.

Then use your exclamation points and adjust width as needed.

OK….back to the ‘toon….

Good morning all! Winter has finally caught up with us in the Great Northwest — school got a snow day yesterday. Too bad I was already on vacation!

Stel, somewhere up above you indicated you could set image width while using the exclamation point shortcut — I’ve been trying but can’t find a syntax that works. Can you advise me? Thanks!

Thanks happy, but I still can’t get it to work — I see now it reverts to smart quotes as soon as I post (even cut-and-pasted from Notepad.)

Here’s the form;!URL'width='350!

replace the URL with the addy and no spaces are allowed.

If GoComics does not recognize the link as valid code it treats as text and changes straight quotes to smart quotes. If you then see the error and correct it you must also replace the smart quotes with straight ones before SUBMITting.

And if you put a space in anywhere you just get your text back with smart quotes replacing the straight ones.

Note that quotes are around the addy and the width values not around width=

Since StelBel is the one who stumbled across discovered the image link shorthand I waiting for her to lead us to the shortcut for<a href='URL'>Link</a>.But if she doesn’t find by tomorrow it won’t be the end of the world.
