He looks like my buddy Skipper, a little thick around the middle. I blame myself and his homemade food, not to mention the plethora of snacks his Dad gives him. Ah well, spoil them for the short time they are with us. He’s lived well beyond his years, I call it “good lovin”.
Wait a minute! A ten pound turkey is TINY! Only twice as big as a standard frying chicken. It’ll serve a family of four with not that many leftovers for the dog. Better send Lucky to someone roasting a 25 pound turkey (which I did once when we had a dozen guests)
just curious Stel ol’ Bel, do you zoom in on the characters and carefully, using the cutting tool, lift off them off where they were and then paste them into the new scene?I could see where that would be time consuming.(but worth it)all this talk of turkey dinners makes me crave one.think I’ll head for the store and see if Swansons still makes that HUNGRY MAN turkey tv dinner. a delicious main course of turkey and dressing, green beans , mashed potatoes…. why, they even include a dessert crammed into that little 2 inch square slot.yummy yummy
I’d just like to know where they found the 10lb turkey. Last Thanksgiving the hubby and I did our own dinner and couldn’t find anything under 15lbs. Barty could have used a friend like Lucky.
yep…that’s pretty much what I do. Then because there’s such differences in sizes, which I have to adjust for (I had to make Marmaduke a lot smaller and Fergus a lot bigger) and the resolution stinks, I end up recoloring and re-outining and even re-drawing almost everything. When I do a Ballard St. one, I do a lot of redrawing usually, especially if I’m repositioning someone, like I did this past week.
good morning CDers, altho it is afternoon for most of you. I get the strips about 7 hours after you, we don’t get them until 3AM or so, and I’ve long gone to bed. All this talk of turkey and I’m having roast chicken today, all the turkeys were about 15 pounds and frozen, and one or (two) can only devise just so many ways of making leftovers. Our late beloved Tina was crazy about chicken (and turkey), she especially liked the soaker pads that come in the bottom of the trays. Would tear the garbage bags apart to gret to them. At night, when she was supposed to be doing her business. Ick. Then she spent the next morning throwing up.
LINDA You are welcome! Love all these pictures! Happy those bunnies are ADORABLE! Happy, Linda and Stel are becoming the MAESTROS of cute and funny pictures!

Lucky’s quite a load! I guess that’s why he only gets the leftovers from a ten pounder.

They could go to my girlfriend’s house. She doesn’t believe in leftovers so she throws everything OUT. Crazy !

I think I’ll pass on this one. All I can imagine is someone putting the Murphy bed back into the compartment…. with Murphy still in it!
(…and, anyway…what dog bed needs to be put away, when most of the day, it’s in use???)
