Yes, Edith, Kenneth’s flock seems to have found him. He might be gone till Spring. Save the newspapers!

Stel, you crack me up. I grew up in Jersey at that time, I always considered Frankie et al to be most appealing to girls. When I visit Jersey, they are still playing them on classic radio.

When they were hatchlings, their mother birds told them to always find and follow the leader…

but their last leader seems to have flown the coop.

(I personally, believe he flew off with that hot little chick from Avery’s Chicken and Artichoke Farm … but I digress…)

Kenneth was just trying to repair Edith’s feather duster….

so now the birds think they’ve found the biggest bird they’ve ever seen,

so he must be their leader.

I hope they’re not disappointed when he leads them south on foot.

He’s always had a hard time getting airborne.

    Stel…

    what a GREAT musical!

Probably even before Dennis, I was around for the rise of the Four Hounds on the pop scene…

But at first, being a folk music, and then English invasion fan,

I wasn’t too enamored of the pups’ slick East Coast look and smooth sound.

In fact, my sister’s name is Sherry, and I teased her with my bad imitation of Frankie Tail’s falsetto howl.

Later, I came to appreciate them, as enduring musical icons of the era.

Say, Stel… did you know there was a copycat musical about a human group?

Were they a real group, or just put together to make the play and movie?

    Wow…. I wonder what they sound like…..

I mean, no human could possibly howl like Frankie Tail, right?

And of course, their suits can’t match the Hounds’ slick, sparkly jackets.

Getting an education here! I never knew those girl groups I liked (the copydog human ones) were all one boy band!
