Robin Hound looks so dashing, with his little David Niven moustache.

    Surprise!

    I got here first tonight….

well, except for Timothy… I can’t compete with somebody who checks in 10 years early.

How did he know, way back then, that we’d be here in 2018, to comment on

the August 17th   “CLEO and COMPANY”?

He couldn’t have read it on Sherpa back then….

    but you can:

And of course, somebody might stop by and post a comment while I’m being my usual long-winded self.

If you did…. whoever you are…. Hi!

    Meanwhile…. welcome, everybody!

    Come join the conversation!

See? I told you somebody would log in while I was typing that.

    Hi Liverlips!

I love the Robin Hound series….. we’ve had a poster, now we get animations and regular (still) strips….

    and later even a puzzle.

And yes, you, too, can watch Robin’s mustache come and go!

I think of it as more of an Errol Basset mustache….

But Errol wasn’t wearing it in the movie poster….. and I think he’s barefaced in the puzzle, later.

But that’s not as important as the big questions…

    Like…

Will Robin claim that his goof was just to make the men laugh…. you know…. to try make them a little more merry?

And will he ever stick the landing?

Meanwhile…. I’m glad little Bonaparte isn’t watching me parallel park.

    Don’t get me wrong….. I’m a good driver.

I’ve never had an accident, or a moving violation.

But I think my parallel parking is probably amusing.

I bet you guys would like to hear the story of how that dog got the unusual name of Bonaparte.

    Yeah, me too.

Robin is no Alley Oop, that is for sure.

When the Neapolitan Mastiff leader got banished to Elba, he was not allowed to take his favorite chew toy. So there he was – Neapolitan bone-apart. Fortunately he was Able to come back soon after, saying “Able was I ere I saw Elba. And I got my bone back, which shows that I have backbone!”

Does Bud apologize for Bonapart’s bad manners? And Timothy, I also snicker. Even though I am often snickering at myself these days. When did parking spaces get so small?

Let’s face it: he enjoys seeing all that’s dysfunctional.

My favorite part was ᴅᴏᴡɴᴛʀᴏᴅᴅᴇɴ sᴀxᴏɴ ᴘɪssᴀɴᴛs.

P.S. According to my 7th grade science teacher, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, if Saxon pissants are downtrodden, someone somewhere must be uptrodden.

Golly. Here they are, they cut down this big ole tree, stand around awaiting their hero, and what does he do? His Jerry Lewis impression! Oh the pain!

Liked his swaggering pose before he leaps.
