Sparky is very worried about not getting his din-din on time tonight.

I think Sparky is questioning if putting them at the top of the food chain was such good idea.

It may take a while but Agnes will finally convince Charles to take her fabric shopping.

Are they arriving home from an event where Charles, once again, made a fool of himself?

Well here we are again….. hi, everybody!

Time to solve and comment on the Saturday puzzle in the

Jan 5th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can find on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

I’ve already made you a side by side version:

    https://i.postimg.cc/C14XDZBF/Cleo-nine-differences-Jan-5th-19.png

We were scheduled to get together at Agnes and Charles’ house…. but it really doesn’t look like a good time, so I gave them a call.

Agnes seemed relieved when I asked whether we could visit on another day instead.

Let’s give them some time for the dust to settle…. I’m thinking maybe… um… next July?

Meanwhile…. come on over to my salon… my kitchen is big and comfortable…. and I just made cinnamon apple twist bread.

Let’s keep the conversation fairly soft, so we don’t awaken the Cliffords.

Wait… if they’ve been sleeping FIVE DAYS…. it might be time to wake them up!

Thanks for an easy one tonight, Nighthawks. That scene looks like many readers’ living rooms, I am sure.

This 2009 comic is just superb. Four distinct characters, each of whose thoughts at this very moment are easily discernible to us as readers. And they are all different, shown without a word of dialogue. Brilliant.

While I’m still awake, I should post the solution to today’s Cleo & Co. puzzle.

Are things really any better on the bottom of the food chain?

When you’ve seen one new year, you’ve seen them all.
