Welcome, Cleo fans and puzzle seekers…..

    and CONGRATULATIONS MONTANA LADY!!

I suggest not celebrating with any “goodies(?)” from Cleo’s latest venture….

in fact, I’d call them “baddies.”

See for yourself…. and Find the Differences…

in the Mar 16th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

You can get it on Sherpa….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Or solve it using my side by side version:

    https://i.postimg.cc/vmBgynYZ/Cleo-nine-differences-Mar-16th-19.png

    But whatever you do….

Don’t bring any of those definitely non-treats home…

not unless you want to find yourself in the same condition as that poor fellow hanging out the window.

(Don’t worry, that’s not a hint about a “difference”…. I’d say he’s pretty much incapable of moving, cos he’s in both panels.

Pretty please…. we don’t post hints or partial answers till everybody gets a chance.)

Meanwhile, Baxter is keeping his eyes peeled, all right…. but not for varmints…..

He’s watching for Cleo’s Road Kill truck to hit his neighborhood, so he can go spend his allowance.

I hope Douglas can manage to lock the doors and windows before that happens.

Why do dogs think they’re invincible when it comes to eating horrible stuff?

The smell alone, of some thing dogs consider fine eatin’, might be enough to kill me.

Hope you all got your eyes peeled because here comes the solution to today’s Cleo & Co. puzzle.

But remember keeping your eyes peeled doesn’t mean you can peek.

    ᴘʀᴇsᴇɴᴛs

sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ CLEO & CO. FACTORY REJECT STORE ᴇᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ

    Saturday Non Solution Solution

       1.  Top panel: “READ” is pronounced in the present tense. Bottom Panel: “READ” is pronounced in the past tense – nighthawks got drunk and left off the “YET?” at the end of “COMPANY”.

       2.  Top: “Mystery Meat” consists of table scraps from Angela Lansbury’s secret dinners with Agatha Christie. Bottom: “Mystery Meat” consists of covfefe.

       3.  Top: “O” from Opossum stolen by O. Henry. Bottom: Cheapskate C&C producers’ budget didn’t include funds for the O.

       4.  Top: Body in window is Sherpa artist who died waiting for the 2nd coming of Sherpa. Bottom: Body in window was killed by the mysterious katina.cooper.

       5.  Top: Cleo can spell “Squirrel?”. Bottom: Hell I can’t spell “Squirrel” without a dictionary.

6-9.  Infamous “Highly technical” Section 6-9. Only MontanaLady, whose brand new grandson must be named Jack?; Perkycat, an Unhazed Brussy; SHE MC, who we all hope is doing well; SusanSunshine, who attracts bad IT service like maggots to the Road Krill Grill; StillTheBelle, about whom I wrote something hilariously funny this week but have, sadly, now forgotten; and the mysterious katina.cooper, who continues to be a Black Hole of biographical information about herself, would understand.

I’m with Dennis. I could only see 8 differences today. The one I missed was……………… another obvious difference. What fun. A good wake-up for the ole brain.

I’ll go with majority rule and say eight (aka “Ya blew it again, Nighthawks!”) — but I’ll come back later for another look…
