A little birdie told me that it is Someone Special’s birthday today!!! But, shhhhhh. Don’t spoil the surprise! We wouldn’t want S.S. to know we have a party planned. I’ll bring some of my world famous BBQ meatballs for appetizers and those fun drinks with little umbrellas in them. And, in case nobody stops by S.S.‘s Pie Shop to pick up desert, I’ll make a whole bunch of chocolate chip cookies.
Unfortunately I have an 8:00 appointment at my dentist’s torture chamber this morning, so I won’t be able to join the Breakfast Brigade until much later.

Susan, I almost missed your birthday! Just got back from Phillie. I came by the Tiki but everybody is kind of slumped over and snoring. Icing smeared all over their faces, shocking! I was hoping to have some folks hungry for the kielbasy I brought back from Shenandoa.

With all the excitement yesterday, and that horribly long dentist appointment (anytime you go to the dentist, it’s horribly long), I never had a chance to tell StelBel what a terrific comic book cover she made for Punderwoman’s birthday! You are sooooooo talented! I noticed it’s listed as “No. 1”. Does that mean we can look forward to more editions?
