Perhaps “no yield” is more like it.

    Welcome, everybody!

Another puzzle to solve and talk about….

on the May 4th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”!

    Find it on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Or go ahead and use my side-by-side…

    https://i.postimg.cc/W1XQcFVZ/Cleo-nine-differences-May-4th-19.png

Unless you already solved it of course…..

like some show-offs…. who shall remain nameless…. LOL.

Just because a person is a teensy touch late.

This one looks like it’s a day early…. but we don’t have a Sunday puzzle, right?

So start the celebration early…. Fenton… a Dos Equis, por favor… y muchas gracias!

Once again…. great to see Stel here yesterday…..

am I going to get in trouble with the rest of you if I keep saying “Hi Dry?”

It’s cos she says it to me…. but you know every one of you is special to me….

So a big “Hi” to everybody else, as well!

Sandra should stop to consider…. there’s a reason some people invest in low yield bonds….

They’re reliable, steady….. no unexpected drops or shifts in income …. and as they age, they maintain their interest…. if you know what I mean.

Even if it’s Cinco de Mayo they don’t stop at the bar, get drunk and forget to come home….

and they don’t climb into another woman’s portfolio, and run off to Acapulco.

    Comprendes?

    Cɪɴᴄᴏ ᴅᴇ Mᴀʏᴏ ɪɴ Mᴇᴍᴘʜɪs

by the late Great Guy Clark

    Meanwhile down on Beal Street

Drinking in a Beal Street bar

There’s a fog rollin’ off the Mississippi

    Has anybody seen Arkansas?

And the deckhands from the toll boats

    Come ashore wearin’ Mexican shoes

    They headed strait for Graceland

It was the first thing they wanted to do

    Cinco de Mayo in Memphis

    Marchetti singin’ the blues

    Soul sisters hugging Senoritas

    All sportin’ Blue suede shoes

Oh no! I got all nine, and stopped. Then I looked at X’s solution and saw there were ten! (Unless one of those sneaky ones don’t count)
