I feel your pain, Gene.

Let’s play “spot the vegan”! Actually, this is a big reason I don’t do Animal Planet, I’ve got a really soft heart.

I feel just like Gene. I lost my dog tonight. A great companion and a loyal, happy friend. Rest in peace Cleo.

My pets are my children so I am very, very sorry to hear for both your losses.

That’s a test… but if it works, I probably should do it for each night … but maybe it’s just another chance for me to mess up.

So Cleo is teaching the neighborhood dogs about advanced weaponry… and the Cliffords think it’s a bad idea.

Will the world’s most indulgent doggy parents put a stop to it?

Like some of the 2009 commenters, I can’t handle shows where innocent creatures get eaten….

even if I do eat some myself…. hypocritical as that may be.

I do like to think at least they’re not run down by lions or cornered by bears.

And I’m such a softy I apologise to tomatoes and green beans, anyway.

Tonight, I’m having trouble even reading those comments, about loss, and pets….

But I’m trying to work on coming back.

It’s not just Cleo, it’s all the comics, where I’ve been having a hard time showing up..

You know, I still find it difficult to post personal stuff… especially things we never shared.

But I’ll disclose now that x_Tech and I were on the phone more nights than not…. reading, proofreading, discussing and liking each other’s comments…. and now it’s just me.

At least here, I feel less alone, with my Cleo family, who miss him too, for support.
