Maybe it’s time for a stocktake sale.

It’s ok, Carl. Just drink the coffee.

That Elhound John can really howl, can’t he? And the mere fact that he can play the piano at all with claws instead of fingers is so impressive.

    Wow….

I just had to be here tonight, not only to welcome my Cleo pals, plus any newbies,

to the Aug 8th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can find on Sherpa

by following the links already posted…

But to point out that what we’re enjoying there, and commenting on here, is a brand new poster from StelBel!

    Yay, Stel! It looks great!

Really nice…um… period look…. does the Costume Annex ever have a hand in costuming Cleo and Company productions?

That word “period” kind of scares me, when it applies to my own lifetime… indeed, adulthood.

I can’t pretend I was a tiny child when the real Elhound became a big star….

I already had a vintage clothing store then… though I was rather young to be a shop keeper.

It’s the fact that the clothes I myself wore then might be collectible now that’s an eye-opener.

I have to confess that I don’t know who this Tarhound Basseton is…. but I’ve heard that he makes a wonderful Elhound John.

Did he do his own howling?

It’s hard to act the part of a living dog…. especially a living legend… knowing that the eyes and nose of the real Elhound… or whoever you’re playing… will be sizing you up.

This is kind of a “coming attractions” type poster….hope the rest of the cast gets more billing on the next one.

I hear they were quite good.

We’ll have to go see it.

Maybe next week… I’ll try to make another deal with the manager at the BassetPlexII.

Unless my dear friend StelBel can get us any…. comps?

    Stel?

He’s overstocked in some ways and understocked in others.

…burning out his fuse up here alone.

And yet SIR Elton is still alive and well. His prediction seems to be a tad off.

Update: Woohoo! The first 3 of 29 appointments in 5 weeks. Some mundane, others sound a little strange, nothing invasive. Hate the NPO ones. Thank goodness they’re first thing in the morning.

    Thanks for caring.

    (((((HUGS))))) for all.

Wow. A new poster. Thanks, Stel. What a great job. I know it must have been really hard to get all those bassets into the crowd with their teeny tiny ears flapping in the breeze. (Aha!!! made you look!)
