these days, it seems like “debate” is just a synonym for “shouting louder than the next person so no-one can give any real answers” regardless of the question. sadly, that seems to hold true in far more places than just the US.

Susan001: Good for you, and let us not forget “Fair and Balanced” Fox News, which basically has to toe the Rupert Murdoch line, and he is not exactly well-balanced either. If you saw the movie “Fierce Creatures” (funny, funny movie), the megalomaniac “Rod McCain”, an Australian billionaire, was a very thinly disguised Murdoch.
