by the time i got to dekalb, ill. from toronto a couple of years back (nephew’s last collegiate soccer game) i felt a lot like her maj looks. by the time i was home again two days later (1 day in dekalb, 1 day on either side of that driving) i was so wired on coffee i didn’t sleep until the following afternoon. but glad i went.
Time for a run to the closest Timmy’s …( to all you Non Canadians..that’s Tim Horton’s…case most are open 24 hours and the coffee’s always fresh and the donuts yummy…just ask our boys in Afghanistan)
@EMET: tune? yes. lyric? not so much, sorry. the most interesting part of the trip was driving through michigan on the way out. there were snow squalls with intermittent whiteouts all the way from port huron to nearly kalamazoo.
bright sunshine in between (put the sunglasses on, take the sunglasses off, repeat ad infinitum). no one on the interstate slowed down from the 75 mph speed they were driving even once, astounding this canuck who thought he knew better. my Dad couldn’t believe them either.
