LOL, i had a boss who found out that someone in one of the offices had a jack o’ lantern with a lit candle in it. He ran to the office with a fire extinguisher and threatened to ‘put out the fire’ if they did not. Nobody else lit a candle inside the office.
I had a boss who told me she didn’t feel that a lit jack o’lantern in the office was appropriate because of the fire hazard. I grabbed it by the cord and picked it up upside-down and told her I wouldn’t do anything so stupid as have an open flame there.
