I saw a doll for sale some years ago that had extra hair inside that you could “grow” by releasing a clamp in the back and pulling it out. You could also reel it in instead of cutting it.

hey, most of us girls also need/needed dolly’s hair to grow back too, when we all decide to ‘style’ it with dull scissors on the very first day.

My goddaughter was like that at toys r us in the doll section…looking, comparing n analyzing…esp since i would only buy 1 doll
