Well, he never said he had kids, which means she’s still ahead in the grand scheme of things. From a biological standpoint, she’s more valuable.

This comic sure tests the bounds of reality, a mother NEVER gets custody AND gets tossed from the marriage home in a divorce (not to mention the money thing). There isn’t a divorce judge alive that would do that. I even know a guy who divorced his wife due to her adultery, she got the kids, house and child support…he ended up living in a trailer.

Oh no this wasn’t supposed to turn into “My situation is worse than yours” but “Hey, we’re both in the same lousy boat, how about we get together and try to improve things?”

She might have lost the house in order to pay for the lawyer in the custody battle. She does say she lost the house and her savings then refers it to the custody battle.

Hugh What dream world do you live in? Divorce judges stick it to the mom all the time. The wealthier the dad, the less likely the mom will be to come out of the divorce with a home and income for her kids. I knew a woman once whose wealthy ex went to every good divorce attorney in the greater Los Angeles area for a consultation before he even let her know he wanted one. By doing that, none of them could take her on as a client and she got royally s c r e w e d.

Your the one dealing fantasies, you expect me to believe that there aren’t lawyers outside the LA area, this person could’ve gone to? I think on the rare occasion a mom does get the bad end, but that’s only because of a pre-existing agreement or a pre-nup. Another lady friend of mine ended up getting nothing because everything the husband owned was in his mom’s name. I agree however, that the sad fact is, the rich can manipulate the court system as it pleases them, but hey….ain’t that America?

And maybe she had to give him that stuff to keep her kids? Do we know why they divorced? Perhaps losing the house and money was worth it to protect the girls from him? This is of course provided he didn’t know the judge as a friend or relative. And it’s a comic, so whatever. ye sin real life, msot women will win hands down. Though not everyone of them cna afford to go out of town. Remember, a lawyer makes you pay for the gas they used driving to court for you.

The real problem is a judge’s obsessive compulsive need to give custody to the birth mom, no matter how unfit she is. Like, this mom, who abandoned her two boys, and a nice couple took them in. Everybody was happy. The boys pretty well adjusted considering they were dumped by their mom. Then Mommy Dearest returns, and wants them back, o she gets them How an abandoner can be the best option to raise a kid is beyond me. But the judge was convicned she was.

She probably lost the house because she didn’t make enough money on her own to pay the mortgage.
