Hey does anyone remember the other painter guy that was the total opposite of this guy? He had a German accent and his catchphrase as he slapped the oils around was “SHOW NO MERRRCY!” For reals. That guy cracked me up.

Or at the very least, in a permanent state of serenity. I’d like to see him robbed at gunpoint to see if he maintains that state.

He’s dead now.

HA HA I work accounting! This guy would help me out so much! Did you ever see him paint a mountainside? OMG! he made it look like no big deal, I’m lucky to get stick figures right!

BC13 - Not so sure about that. He was a vet and painting was his way of dealing with the PTSD from Vietnam.

The information about Bob Ross on Wikipedia indicates that he had a 20 year career in the Air Force as medical records technician (citation needed). There’s no mention of him ever being in Vietnam.
