A year ago, I was organizing a charity ball FOR the homeless! Alice: How nice! Hear that, Elmont? A charity ball! For us! Elmont: No way! I never got an invitation! Woman: Well, not "for" you in that sense. Alice: How many senses are there? Elmont: Six! And you'll need 'em all to dumpster-dive! Let's go, young lady! Woman: Excuse me? Alice: No trouble at all - it's his way of giving back!

IMHO they try to live their lives as minimalists - expending no undue effort, and pretty much being satisfied with what they have. they also seem to be open to new experiences, but cautious.
