Jason: Dad, the outdoor Christmas lights aren't working. Roger: What?! I just put them up two days ago! I hate these things! One stupid bulb burns out and the whole string goes dead! Now I've got to spend half the night crawling around an icy roof testing each little bulb, one by one. Help! Help! The ladder is slipping! AAAA! Jason: Nevermind, Dad- the cord just wasn't plugged in.
