Grandma: I was hoping you'd let me cook dinner at least once while I'm here. Andy: Mother, really, no, you're the guest. Grandma: How 'bout tonight? Andy: Tonight I'm cooking. Grandma: How 'bout tomorrow? Andy: Tomorrow I'm cooking. Grandma: How about Friday? Andy: Fridays we always order pizza. Grandma: Kids? Would you rather have pizza on Friday or your Grandma's cooking? Children: Grandma's cooking! Grandma's cooking! Grandma: There. It's settled. Andy: Fine. Whatever Children: Let's have pizza tonight AND tomorrow.

LOL the book is called “The Joy of Tofu”. Andi, Andi, Andi…

I have some tofu recipes that are truly joyous. Orange Chicken-Style Tofu. Smothered Tofu and Onions. Tofu Piccata. You can find the 1st three on www.vegweb.com the last: http://www.recipezaar.com/Tofu-Piccata-88599
Tofu absorbs all the seasonings. They don’t just sit on top like they do with a piece of dead animal.

PurpleVegan, all your recipes sound delicious. All I needed to do was substitute the word tofu with chicken.

Whenever I complained about the meal being served, my parents showed me the PB&J. That’s the “choice” the kids get.

Lisa C says: Idylls of the King, Ray C, isn’t it? But what’s a henweigh? :)~ Right on, Lisa. “Gareth and Lynette” is the particular story. Your henweigh is in the mail. Oops, no…we have the same last name. Relatives were ineligible for the contest. :(
