Peter: I can't believe you wrote an entire operating system. Jason: I'm telling you, Peter, Jasondowns 98 was going to make me rich! I had it all figured out! The only thing I needed was for the feds to delay Microsoft's new O.S. long enough for mine to get its foot in the door! Because I guarantee once people tried my O.S. they wouldn't be switching back to windows anytime soon. Peter: It's that good? Jason: It's that hard to un-install. Computer: (beep) tentacles wrapped and locked awaiting your command.

Microsoft based Explorer on Jason’s design

I had thought of designing my own OS years ago. Something even more user friendly. Something a moron could operate. I thought of calling it EZ-PC. All the system files are password encoded and locked in the deepest parts of the system, so there’s no way to accidentally delete them. Only certified techs would have the passwords. It would be specially designed witht the copmuter illiterate in mind. Kinda like Firefly phones. Usable, but not so advanced that you create problems for yourself.
I may take the idea up again.

98 seems pretty out of date.

I thought Jason used a Mac. BTW, I think Microsoft based Vista on Jason’s design.

Jason used a PC until his mom fell is love with a cute Imac, a few years later.

However, Amend called the “obvious Apple” the “iFruit”, although he did use the actual Intel name in this particular comic strip.

No that was Windows ME. They removed some of the functionality and re-released it as Vista.

Just give us dual pane support in Windows Explorer. I move files between drives. I need to panes with 2 different drives on them.
