nowadays they could be watching just about anything…. i even see an awful lot f ‘slobbering’ on the disney channel!

I’m wondering if a little hanky panky is about to take place in Calvin’s folks room.

I love Calvin’s expression in panel 2.

Calvin, when it was your mom and dad doing the slobbering and other stuff it was but a prelude to your conception.

@wndrwrthg Never, never tell a kid that his parents once had intercourse with each other. That’s a “prelude” to lifetime therapy =)

Kinda interesting how that expression of childish disgust (panel two) starts appearing again at about 70 for the very same reason.

I like it, how Mum puts Calvin under her arm resolutely and strictly, no contradiction tolerating.Nothing helps, he has to go to bed!

Actually, I think that Bill Watterson once said that Susie and Calvin would never get together. It just wasn’t gonna happen.

It has been 20 years. Has anyone asked Bill Watterson lately?

Apparently Calvin has never seen his parents kiss or cuddle.

Where is hobbes? You usally see him at a time like this. Also Bill Watterson is more private person you can’t just go ask him. I think Calvin and Susie wouldn’t be a good couple because hobbes might get jealous…

Calvin reminds me of Ian Frazier’s “Laws Concerning Food and Drink …”:
