Wheres Hobbes when you need him?

6-year-olds learn physics now? I know, I know. Calvin’s vocabulary alone is better than a lot of 18-year-olds (and older).

That’s a long fall. Will this be the end of our dear Calvin. Or by some miraculous fate will he be saved by an unknown force.

We’ll have to “string along” with Calvin another day to find out, but it looks as if “The string has run out.”

Gweedo Murray, I’ve been running all during “The Long Hot Summer” How about a Puddle(glum) of sweat? Calvin will have to sweat it out one more day. Maybe he can pull some strings (one anyway) and get out of this dilemma. Otherwise, he might have a rude awakening… from Hobbes?

wndrwrthg - almost right - he has to be distracted, not deliberately, so he forgets all thought about his weight, how high he is etc (ref: 3w HHGproject org /entries/ flying) - if he makes it, he might become cool and froody, and remember to take a (stripey?) towel with him…

If Hobbes is there to catch Calvin, maybe Hobbes becomes a towel from the force of the impact (if Calvin fails to miss the ground) …

I’ve heard of someone knocking someone into next week, but it looks like Calvin is knocking himself. Oy.

Ah, one of the great conspiracies of the world. Yeah. You know all those community fundraisers and such? They’re actually just gathering to plot world domination. And when those 80-year-olds pray silently to themselves, they’re asking God for the power to smite the unbelievers so that they may crush them beneath their boot. (Some people and their paranoid, delusional, dysfunctional neuroses…. :P)

Not EVERY conflict in the world right now is based on religion. For instance, at work the other day, a 14-year-old girl tried to cut a 15-year-old boy with scissors because he made a fish face at her. How does religion and the great subversive agenda the bible-thumpers have planned come into play there…? lol :D Oh… wait… FISH face…. I think I understand now. You might be right TrapperJohn…. :P
