That’s right, he should get extra time for being out sick!

I’m not sure “My tiger ate my homework” would work, Mrs. Wormwood lacks imagination…

I know the feeling. I’m still fretting over a book report I didn’t do 61 years ago.

I still have nightmares in which I have a big final due in a college course of which I had not attended a single lecture!! And I cannot find the room where the test is supposed to be given! I wake up in a cold sweat!!!

Calvin and Danae REALLY should get together… :)

Like so many comics commenters I’ve seen as well.

Mitstan, one day Calvin and Danae will get together and they will lead the country out of it’s current crumbling, fumbling, ever depressing state of chaos and into a new and wondrous state of anarchy where nothing will matter anymore. I know they will because they are the only ones twisted enough to understand what’s going on in our government. So like Calvin says, “Don’t worry about it.”

I wonder if Calvin does his homework on the bus on the way in to school and finishes it off in class or doesn’t bother to do it at all.

at least Calvin’s premise is good. too bad as a kid a book report isn’t one of those “little things” :-D

Now Calvin you could’ve been reading while you were resting in bed while sick. So you really have no excuse.

Voice of my conscience: “Like the work you’re supposed to be doing right now instead of reading comics?” Voice of my inner Calvin: “Exactly. Case in point.”

I think the same thing can be applied to things that really do matter but you really have no control over……

you can worry about death & taxes all you want….but it is as worthless as regret

if calvin was going to do a book report about angels& demons, i wouldn’t recommend watching the movie as it was very different from the movie

Cliff’s Notes required too much reading!

That’s right!

If the teacher and the rest of the class want to know about the book, then let them read it for themselves.

… Well Cleavage “notes require no reading whatsoever and the swinsuit issue is full of those types of notes :-)

Macushlalondra! What would you have done? Honestly. Read comics…read book? Comics win by a landslide! Remember, never do today what you can leave for tomorrow. Especially if you’ve got a friendly tiger to write it for you.
