They’re going to need it….

hi marg i agree. i sometimes wonder if they have “restful” nights away from Calvin to recover from the nights they don’t, or vice versa.

Better keep a lookout! Rosalyn is up to something, Calvin.

‘Morning, yyyguy! I haven’t seen you for a while.

You know if she stays quiet long enough hes going to get curious and open the door .. then splat !!!!

She might have went to call a classmate to borrow some notes..lol

Now Calvin looks like a bug in blissfully ignorant happiness, just before the flyswatter hits him.

gillbillvolume1: That’s what we’d do when we were in high school call one of our friends that had the class with you or the same teacher, if we were sick or forgot our notes or needed the daily assignment. The worst is when you really weren’t friends with anyone in the class and had to make a list of people you didn’t know or like and call them for help because you were desperate. That was the ultimate in humiliation.

Calvin, after what she is going to do to you she may not need to take that test.

Friends? Notes? You are kidding, aren’t you?

Maybe they will run the sirens and flashing lights!! Wouldn’t that be fun?

My father was a fireman and I was very proud of him, when I was a little child. Sometimes I was allowed to visit him, to sit in the big car and to hoot very loudly, it was great!

Well .. guess again who she’d be callin?? and your parents in case need to come back home .. you’re so dead Calvin!!!

Dogsniff - I disagree. I bet she’s gonna waylay him when he opens the door and not only get her notes back, but get him in more trouble than he can imagine when his parents come home!

I don’t think she’s calling the fire department – I think she’s calling his mom and dad. Calvin, you’re in trouble!

Oh My, It looks as though Hobbes and LuvH8 are feeding an already over active imagination.

We might see a SWAT team before this evening is over.

Hobbes don’t give Calvin any ideas. Stay tune for tomorrow strip as the story continues.

Rosalyn went to the garage to get a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

Maybe a can of gasoline to pour under the door.

An excellent side note, Hobbes. Calvin’s parents are going to need it.

Hmm Calvin is still enjoying his moment, while Hobbes has seen a little into the future and getting into a mindset more suitable for the near future…

Here’s my prediction, based on 2 rather obvious facts. 1] Hobbes is smarter than Calvin. 2] Rosalyn is smarter than Hobbes. Outcome: Ros just stays silent, but alert. Hobbes tells Calvin not to open the door. Calvin HAS to find out what’s happened to Ros, and opens the door anyway. Ros is waiting for this. POW!!! BAM!!! Nothing is more to be feared than a woman scorned. [Or underestimated.]

I’m so looking forward to tomorrow to see what happens. I love Calvin and Hobbes and fear his coming down to earth will be quite painful.

I had two nephews who were just about as bad as Calvin and, one night, they toasted two loaves of sliced bread their father had stashed away along with other stuff cause he was going on a fishing trip. Quite a good start :-)

Calvin does make the most of his small victories… I fear his doom is lurking just outside the door…

She’s probably not calling anyone and she’s not waiting quietly – that’s not Roz’s style. Perhaps the blowtorch is not too far fetched.

What happened to Rosalyn? Strategic withdrawal, that’s what.

Calvin, you are so doomed.

Don’t open the door to peek Calvin. Just wait for the axes!

Hobbes is on the money

Oh, I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas Mommy and Daddy are mad. I’m getting nuttin’ for Christmas ’Cause I ain’t been nuttin’ but bad.

If Roz is on her cellphone to Calvin’s parents, sooner or later all you’re going to see is a flash of fire and a plume of smoke in that bathroom when they get home…

I think the perfect solution for Roz is to do nothing at all!

If Calvin comes out and looks for her, she can seize him. If he doesn’t, he’ll have to surrender her notes to his parents, and pay their price for locking himself where she can’t get him.

Either way, she’s done all she can to get him into bed, she hasn’t bothered his folks (which really isn’t her style, and which wouldn’t work anyway unless they actually skipped out on dinner and came home) - and she still won’t lose her notes.

Easy Calvin, remember what the Curio City delivery truck did to the cat.
