Morning Mike and Loki. Travis, thank you for the comment. It’s the texting which implies too lazy to write, that I find annoying. When English is the second language I do appreciate and encourage their effort.

Many people claim to be able to sense what others are thinking using ESP - Extra Sensory Perception. This strip shows Mom has ECP - Extra Calvin Perception.

Either that or she just knows him to well.

With all our children, about the time we’d realize we were enjoying the quiet … we’d suddenly remember what the quiet implied. When children aren’t seen, they should be heard! Five minutes is about right, but I’ll give Watterson artistic license here.

I can see the ending to this in my head plain as day! This was one of the funniest Calvins, that and the time dad told Calvin they could the Christmas tree in the garage!!

If you don’t like the post or poster, would you shutuppls and just move past it. There are a few here that I don’t want to read except for when one like yours picks on someone as kind and respected as Margueritem. Other than that, I browse over them.

Picking on someone for the reason you state is not good enough in my opinion. You do have the right to voice your opinion, but not the right to tell her to stop for that reason.

There is car RACING, but with Calvin it’s car CHASING. Perhaps this could become an Olympic event. If his mother goes nuclear, there could be a death in the family, mebbe Calvin or his father when he gets home and has a full boat coronary….

How do we know that Calvin and Hobbes are not simply chasing someone else’s car for some other reason? Maybe the driver was supposed to pick them up!

Rule of thumb; If you haven’t seenn a kid in 15 Minutes & it is extreamly quuiet, you know they are doing somethhing that will get them in trouble
