    Everybody’s a critic.

    Dad can’t take criticism.

Actually, I think Dad’s taking it pretty well.

On the other hand, he could’ve said, “So try to do better”, and Calvin would’ve had to put up or shut up… and just maybe, start enjoying this little jaunt.

Maybe Dad is really good on the harmonica? Yes, that is it Calvin is complimenting Dad on his painting by comparing it to his exceptional harmonica playing.

“Who asked you?” Criticism is always unsolicited.

Did Dad draw on his shirt also?

It’s true, everyone’s a critic, maybe Calvin can do better. Especially with his crayons!

If you can’t get enough Calvin check out: http://www.marcellosendos.ch/_old/comics/ch/ This is the latest url for him.

Must paint like I play guitar. Don’t let the laughter and gaiety fool you, he’s still the world’s saddest guitar player!

Calvin’s mom has done a good job of making herself scarce. It is nice to see that dad is enjoying his vacation and that Calvin’s constant complaining hasn’t disturbed his serenity.

**Good morning Marg! Good morning Fran and Kizzzy! Good Morning L’Wolf! Good Morning Grog!**

Poor Dad. He cannot do anything right, and then is a critic to boot.

Calvin sounds like an ‘Harmonica Rascal’! What makes Calvin a connoissuer of fine art, anyway? My father used to play a little harmonica. I enjoyed it.

Mom must stay in the tent. Calvin is in a beautiful sun set and wishes he was watching TV. Dad goes to all this trouble and he wants to paint by no s, and be rude! Wow what a great comic. a real hoot.

carless said: Hey Dad anything you can do I can do better.

“… I can do any thing better than you!” (Thanks, Irving Berlin!)

Btw: I like Dad’s shirt too. If this comic were in color, it would probably be very colorful and tropical-looking — definitely unlike the dull boring clothes he has to wear to the office every day.
