Jason: Ok, Marcus, hold the kite up like that, and let go when the line gets tight. Marcus: Dang, you'd think 1,500 yards would be plenty of string. Jason: Help me spool this up - maybe the third time's the charm.

I wonder what would happen if it was really windy? Jason would probably fly away with the kite.

If the line is totally unspooled and Marcus is still holding onto the kite, then that just means that the string isn’t even tied onto the stick.
