Paige: Katie, sweetie, let's go over this before your mom gets home. What are we going to tell her happened to your dress? Girl: Katie got scissors while Paige sleepig! Paige: Hmm. The scissors part is unavoidable, but the last bit could use some tweaking. Try "while Paige was sorting flash cards" or "while Paige was changing the Mozart CD." If your mother finds out I fell asleep on the job, she'll be really, really angry with me. Girl: Like this! Paige: Exactly. Just like that. Girl: Mommy, Katie got scissors while paige flashig Mozart!
