    I don’t see what the big deal is about Peanuts, its not THAT funny, nor is it well drawn.

    Peanuts is not a classic. It is THE classic. It DEFINED classic. It is the very essence of cartooning. Peanuts is like the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Just as without Huck Finn we’d have no American literature, so without Peanuts we’d have no comic strips. It’s wonderful to see a great cartoonist drawing an homage to the greatest.

    I really see what the big deal about Peanuts is. Its HILARIOUSLY funny and it takes skill to draw like that.
