omg! i love pokemon!

Me too!

I usually find out which version my friend has first, then get the opposite of that version. Oh, and I never trade my starter.

For all other pokefans, how to get every starter of your game’s generation. You will need 2 ds’s 2 games of that generation (1 you must be fairly far in) in the other one start a file and choose a starter, play until you are able to trade, and catch 1 pokemon you aren’t attached to, then trade the starter for a throwaway pokemon from the other game, delete this file, repeat for the second starter, then start a third game get 2 throwaway pokemon and trade the 2 you caught for the 2 starters you traded.

Why not both? Oh, right. Economy. Or is that just now?
