I liked “the Dirty Dozen” and “the Guns of Navarone” a lot and I’m female - so using his logic that makes both movies “chick flicks”.
I liked “Princess Bride” and I’m a guy.
ejcapulet, re “Guns of Navarone”: Alistair MacLean wrote many really exciting novels. His last few got lazy and formulaic, but if you like reading adventure his early stuff is hard to beat.
If I like a brightly colored, chewable treat made of synthetic rubber, it’s gum; if she likes it, it’s a chiclet.
Thank goodness most of us don’t fit neatly into our gender boxes! But Nicole has a point, and a funny one, as ever.
