As I creep toward that age, I prefer to remain peacefully in denial.

I used to jokingly ask for one, but they started complying.

Then they start calling you dear, honey, sweetie etc. I hate that! LOL

I had an elderly lady tell me “never get old!” All I could think of to say was “I’ll take that over the alternative!”

That’s great CarolinaGirls, but why are standing in a river?

Its not to late you know - she can still have children if she wants - but if she does, I fell sorry for them.

I now frequently warn young people to not get old, but they don’t seem to listen to my advice!
