“Mom?” - Isn’t this comic meant to be Australian?

It is Australian and of course we have Moms.

Some of us even have fathers.

i htink they meant the spelling… don’t us aussies say “mum”, not “mom”? i guess the “moooo-ooo” kinda emphasizes the way he says it… all drawn out and sounding kinda sick

but hey, im knew to this site, so i’m probs wrong =)

that never really worked for me… i’d have to have nothing but chicken broth or tea all day

I change the spelling of the words to the American spelling for American audiences before I upload it to Universal as 99% of the GoComics readers of Meggs are American.

I’d prefer to get the one comment as above, than dozens asking about AU English spelling/grammar.
