The doomed aircraft sent to pick up Annie from Kodiak Island wasn’t a helicopter, it was an executive jet.

Where is Brenda today? I have to have my Brenda fix. This “Annie” story is moving way too fast for me. How can Annie go back to Alaska now, just when the air shaft arc was starting to take off? Ah well…Dick Tracy will still be in the center of the circus tent. At least there I can find my stable, unmovable arc. I mean “rock.” Yes, just a little slip there.

How has the story location changed so dramatically ? Last week Thursday Warbucks and Grimm were in a helicopter about to land in the Arizona desert to explore a camouflaged underground facility..

Now that story arc stopped in mid air. Warbucks is suddenly back at home with Annie, and Grimm, nowhere in sight.

Is this a flashback of sorts ?

Yes, once again it is time for Annie to head off on a seemingly routine trip that turns into an ill-fated adventure…

It looks like Daddy is trying to get Annie off the premises so he can do that exploring. Meanwhile, the general is back home, having served well as the plot mechanism for the discovery of the air shaft. So we’re going to have three arcs, possibly flashing back and forth as we go (much like Tolkien’s novels):

Daddy and the airshaft. Annie and the trip to Kodiak Island. The general and his dealings with the Blue Circle. Can’t wait! Can’t wait! Can’t wait!

Don’t these two ever go on adventures together? Some family. Always dumping her off somewhere else.

Grim and Oliver investigated the shaft/hatch, then returned home to fidn a way in. Hence Tom’s robots.
