Similar to Garfield watching an act done by a Mongolian mime fish. Few panels later, Jon asks Garfield of its whereabouts. While his walks of saying that he “caught its dinner show” with a cheesy smile, Jon says that Garfield has rouge on his teeth.
Years ago when my son was a young lad, he explained how a window in the garage got broken: “You won’t believe it, Dad, but this bird swooped down and picked up a rock, and as it was flying over the garage, it dropped the rock and it hit the window and it broke.” Twenty-five years later we’re still laughing about the “dive-bombing birds.”
