Didn’t know this was set in Kentucky. I’m in SE Ky - 57 degrees and sunny. My son’s National Guard unit has been called up to go door-to-door looking for bodies where the power is off and roads are blocked with ice, maybe 200 miles west of here.
Nothing like waiting for five days after a ice and snow storm to call the national Guard out..sounds like “Heads” in Kentucky might have been in power in New Orleans before, during and after Katrina.
Its going to be -5 degrees here(ireland) in the next few days…hopefully it might snow.
The last time it was this cold and it snowed, it was 1998!!
But we don’t get snow days off school/college, people just don’t turn up(which sucks for me cause my first day back at college is tomorrow and we have to turn up to sign in again!)
