She has plenty of cord wood? HA! I don’t think so. There’s no such thing. A cord is a unit of measure for a volume of wood. (Usually used for measuring firewood). One cord equals 128 cubic feet of wood. She can have a cord of wood, but not cord wood. Oh well, she’s a woman……
re “cord wood”, per kreole: “HA!… There’s no such thing”
Dear kreole: Google begs to differ. “Cord wood” is a commonly used expression to refer to firewood that’s been cut to fairly uniform length so it can be stacked in cords.
Maybe you didn’t know that. But try harder not to be a dick about exposing your ignorance. Expecially when 20 seconds of Googling can larn ya sumthin’.
I wouldn’t have known the difference either but not because I’m a woman but because I just never learned. Just like you probalby never learned how to crochet, kreole, and many other lots of women take interest in. Does that make you a stupid male? Do you know the difference between a single crochet and a double crochet? No? Oh you stupid male! LOL!
“slang-language outside of conventional use” Using slang terms doesn’t mean you’re stupid. Most men I know use more slang than women. Of course, maybe Kreole is just so poorly socialized that he doesn’t know that not every word in dialogue is meant to be interpreted literally.
