How far behind do these strips run? Palm Sunday was on March 28 this year.

It’s at least a couple months behind. If i remember correctly, they attended a 9/11 one-year memorial service back in the fall, so that would have been a strip from 2002, so this one is from 2003. When was Palm Sunday in 2003?
and the church carried on the tradition by holding out their palms, expecting them to be crossed with cash
I think that’s the first time Jeri actually had a punch line that’s truly funny! (Usually she’s just pathetic…)
Palm Sunday was on April 13 in 2003. The month & day on the strips are easier to read in the weekday strips.
I can say Jeri was close to the idea on the last panel.
