@ Jnite: Please considerate it. You might not realized how interesting you and your time period is. You have seen the always active Time Square emptied, some of history’s greatest tsunamis, and the strongest and most hurricanes ever recorded, not to mention a new millenium. Possibly humanity landing on the Moon, machines visiting the other planets, and the discovery of planets around other stars. An elderly friend and neighbor did not write one despite my encouragement. Towards the end she wished she had, and so did I. What a gift to her grandchildren,
Captains may have kept logs for hundreds of years, but isn’t it great that the first post is attributed to Star Trek! It was my first thought when I saw it. However, it would have been better if she had used the stardate. LLAP!
