My Toshiba remote has an eject button on the remote.

The eject button is so that you can open the disc or the cassette and remove it, without having to go to the player. I’ve always seen eject buttons on remotes, including DVD players. What’s so strange about it?

So you can try throwing the disk/tape/whatever and landing it perfectly where it needs to go

I still remember the clench of horror in my gut the first time I saw Bernardo stab Riff, ~40 years later.

Okay, okay, yeah yeah yeah… technical and beyond. I just wanted to answer the question about the “eject” button on remotes – yes, they exist – but it’s a cartoon, okay? Play along!
