I took German in high school; a friend took French. One day while walking down the hall we carried on two one-sided conversations in those languages, ending with “Ich weiss nicht, was du sagts.”* “Well the same to you, buddy!”
Ask them to teach you Lithuanian. No knowledge is every wasted or so they say…
I not only don’t speak Lithuanian, I can’t even get by in Uyghur.
