Man in suit: I'm supposed to be staying in one of John McCain's houses out here, Carmen. Carmen: and you can't find it, president bush? President Bush: Heck, I don't think john even knows where it is... Carmen: if it's any consolation, he did the same thing to Sarah Palin last week...

I’ve heard very little from Dubya since November.
When Slick Willie left office he made a big production of it and played the media game to stay in the media limelight for months after his presidency.
‘Course his little infidelity scandal made him a stud-muffin celebrity.

McCain praises his enemies and throws his allies under the bus.

Maybe McCain simply has a different idea than you who his “allies” and his “enemies” are…

Bush has been out and about on the lecture circuit. He was through my town some weeks back. Even though I live in what is considered ‘Bush’ country, no one seemed too excited about his visit.
So it seems to me that Bush would LIKE to stay in the limelight to boost his success on the lecture circuit, he just hasn’t been able to do it.

It could be that President Bush has decided to honour the unspoken tradition of not speaking out against the current administration.

I’ve got to admit I admire Bush’s staying out of the news. I wish his Dick would do the same.
