ok, for those of us (myself included) who simply did not get the joke, here is the spoiler with nothing left to infer or judge:
on the left path, the illustration is of two ankles and shoes pointing skyward; the guy is falling off the cliff.
the confusion is (was for me) this looks like two people walking side by side over a hill. so, i (we) didnt get the point of not taking the path of least resistance…it looks clearly like they are still headed in the direction intended.
so, to the comments that i (we) need to have our eyes examinied–maybe they are too good. or, maybe the artist needs to learn to draw better feet ;)
