This comic borders slandering an entire group. Can you imagine the outcry if he had one of his characters say “Italians are all fat, pasta-eating, mobsters”? And the term “Monkey-brained” calls to mind Howard Cosell’s infamous “lookat that monkey run” comment.
I suggest that Wiley contact his attorney before he slanders others. And he owes all hunters an apology. Now.

o, put down the gun, sal. it is a comic strip. to the best of my knowledge, it requires a sense of humor to appreciate and does not necessitate litigation. as for apologizing, i haven’t seen trudeau apologize to any of the last six administrations. i doubt that hunters will get one from wiley. besides, the groups to which you referred (italians and african americans) are thus by birth, not by choosing. that makes the referenced comments racist. hunters choose to dress up like bushes and lure unsuspecting herbivores to a gory death. that makes wiley’s comments pointed.

Can anyone say “Cartoon”? This is a comic strip for humor - let’s stop the crazy train…not everything is an “attack”…sometime it’s just humor.
