a lot of folks spend far too much money on high school proms, IMHO. but, if they can afford it, who am i to argue?

if you weren’t good looking and/or rich you were treated like dirt… so - i didn’t go to my prom… no one would take me… i wasn’t part of the click…i HATED high school
Our school had a banquet & dance for the prom. You could only go to the banquet part if you were a Jr. or Sr. at that school. So, lots of people went “stag” to the banquet, which is what I did. Then a bunch of us girls had a slumber party instead of going to the dance. We had the fun of dressing up, without the stress of trying to get a date.
I went to the prom with a frosman when I was a junior. It was not a good time. The after prom sucked. Didn’t attempt it as a senior. I was clueless. HA!

Didn’t go to my prom. Tested out of high school before finishing 11th grade. Went to college without graduating high school.
