That’s it, Broomie: a really, really Big Smile for the Nice (and humongous) Officer!

I got my dad’s ‘56 Belvedere up to about 95 one time. You could just about watch the gas gauge needle moving down. But I loved that car.

Obviously. That’s how illegal speeders are caught: by those who can legally speed.

    Paradoxical, ain’t it? :))

Are you going to try to flirt your way out of a ticket, Broomie?

Next she’ll ask if she can buy a ticket to the State Troopers’ Ball, and the cop will reply “State Troopers don’t have balls,” and it’ll just go downhill from there…

My 55 Savoy hardtop, with the small V8, was faster than that, back in the day. Great car, black and white with a red interior, and the automatic slide stick in the dash.

I had two Dodges with 318s. I had the ‘60 up to 120 once and cruised the ‘64 down 322/22 once at 95. 318s were goers.
