You could give him a little nudge from behind, Sophie…

Joe Allen Doty - Sophie is a Labrador Retriever and they are very people oriented and tolerant of a child’s shenanigans. Labs just want to have fun and to be included. You will find exceptions, just like with people.

    A 3 foot slide to a 14” kid looks more like a 30 foot drop-off.

    I don’t know those ears look more like a Golden Retriever’s not a Lab’s.

Joe Allen Doty- I looked up the incident you mentioned. It also said the dog hadn’t been fed for many days. A hungry animal will kill to obtain food; it’s only natural. Sophie is well fed. She will not be eating Doug.

wow it always seemes to turn into drama.

sophie just give him a little nudge from the back and he will slid right down… or you can cut in front of him and slide down.

The family mentioned by Joe should not be allowed any more children or pets, but unfortunately they will continue to breed, and there are hundreds of throw away pets out there for the taking. I wish we could protect all the innocents, human and animal…..

You’re right, Gweedo, it’s an emotional issue.
