Bichon Frese dogs have to get the hair pulled out of their ears every couple of months. Mine hated it and fought getting in the car, until I started praising him and rewarding him with a liver treat just before and just after the pulling from each ear. Now you’d swear he loves the process! Eager to get on the table, wags all over and licks the vet’s hands, and even leans forward for the forceps..

My dogs are so nervous when it comes to going to the vets that they try to make a break for an escape every chance they get.
