Peter: Mom, is it ok if I go over to Denise's house for Thanksgiving dinner this year? Andy: Peter! Thanksgiving is a time to spend wth family! Pretty soon you kids'll be grown and we won't always have these opportunities to be together! I can't believe you'd want to have dinner at your girlfriend's house instead of here with us! Peter: Who said "instead?" our dinner's at 2:00 theirs is at 4:00. Andy: Two Thanksgiving meals?! Are you insane? Roger: High five, son!

Sounds like a newlywed couple. 2 Thanksgivings, two Christmases, one New Years Eve.

I dunno–we used to always do two or even three thanksgivings–the difference though is that we didn’t really eat anything at most of them. Yay for my family not generally having sit-down dinners–just eat as you get there–it’s the time that counts.
