Inflation - gets U right in the wallet. I’ve never been to a professional game (been to lots of college football games). Is $21 in 2009 dollars typical? What a ripoff if it is…wouldn’t surprise me though. I’ll just watch the games on TV with my $6 6-pack & friends.
This is one of the reasons I stopped going to big league games fifteen years ago and exclusively go to see minor league and college matches. Your ticket costs a tenth as much, you get to sit closer to the action, parking costs a fraction of the price (if it costs anything at all) and the concession prices are half at least.
